Weddings at Mandala Wines

Our family-owned and run Yarra Valley vineyards produce wines of character and finesse, made to be enjoyed with good food and friends. You’ll experience the same care and attention to detail when choosing to celebrate your marriage at Mandala Wines.

Ceremony

Mandala’s rotunda and gardens provide the perfect backdrop for ceremonies. Guests are welcome to enjoy our landscaped lawns and relax with a glass of wine while you have your photos taken.

Reception
Just one hour from Melbourne’s CBD, the Mandala restaurant, cellar door and vineyards are nestled in the rolling hills of the Yarra Valley, creating a stunning environment to celebrate your wedding. Our spectacular architecturally designed Glass Room Restaurant and lounge cater beautifully for both canapé and sit down receptions. We can cater for up to 80 people for a seated wedding reception, and up to 140 for a canapé style reception.

Food and Drink

We invite our bridal couples to be involved in designing their menus with matching wines, whether it be for a sit down three course meal or canapé service.

The menu choices were all so good we had a hard time deciding what to include, and I really have to thank you for willingly accommodating my gluten free diet, which enabled me to enjoy all the dishes on the day.”

Your Wedding Ceremony

The rotunda and grounds at Mandala provide a stunning backdrop for wedding ceremonies. We would be delighted to assist in creating the perfect atmosphere for your day. Ceremonies can take place in the rotunda or on the bocci court with our vineyard as a backdrop. Guests are welcome to enjoy our landscaped lawns and outdoor areas, and relax with a glass of wine while you have your photos taken.

The cost of a standard ceremony is $500. This includes:

  • Carpet aisle – red or charcoal
  • 24 white padded ‘Americana’ chairs
  • Signing table and chairs
  • Exclusive use of the grounds for the duration of your ceremony
  • Use of the grounds for photography


Your Wedding Reception

We can cater for up to 85 people (including bridal party) for a seated wedding reception, and up to 140 for a canapé style reception. For groups larger than this we can arrange a marquee on our lawns. Additional hire costs are incurred for this option. The largest bridal party we can accommodate for a seated reception is 10.

Reception packages include:

  • Menu and wine tasting for the bride and groom
  • Sparkling wine and canapé hamper for the bridal party during photos (seated receptions only)
  • Guest menus with personalised message from the Bride and Groom
  • White linen napkins and white table cloths for guest tables, white linen napkins and white fully-skirted bridal table.
  • White tea-lights for guest and bridal tables.
  • Wine barrel for your cake table
  • The use of any of Mandala’s vases and bud vases.


Reception Packages

Seated Receptions:

3 Course Dinner with pre-dinner canapés                                                  $85.00 per person

2 Course Dinner with pre-dinner canapés                                                  $75.00 per person

Standard drinks package for a 5 hour reception                                         $40.00 per person

Standard drinks package for a 4 hour reception                                         $35.00 per person

Premium drinks package for a  5.5 hour reception                                       $50.00 per person

Canapé Receptions:

Selection of 8 Canapés and 2 Grazing dishes, served over a 5 hour period.

With standard drinks package                                                                          $95 per person

With premium drinks package                                                                           $100 per person

Cheese plates                                                                                                   $5.00 per person


Children are catered for with prior notice at $25.00 per child.

Entertainers and photographers meals can be provided at $25.00 each

We are able to cater for most dietary requirements – please advise us of any requirements at least a week prior to your event.
