Charles' take on a modern Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay has purposely moved away from the characteristic over-oaked flavouring, to a "new style" which focuses on subtle and integrated oak to deliver texture, weight and an enjoyable structure.
A bright aromatic profile of mandarin, citrus blossom, and stone-fruit, combines with subtle hints of peanut husk and brioche. Excellent integrity nose to palate in terms of flavour. A generous and textural mid palate is supported by subtly integrated oak and lively acidity.
