This Pinot is from our glorious Dixon's Creek vineyard. A bold bouquet of matured plum and stark strawberry combines with hints of fresh leaf and cinnamon sprinkles. Fine tannins and firm acidity anticipate a finish of soft berry fruits, warm spices and subtle oak.
Hand-harvested and de-stemmed, the Pinot fruit was cold soaked for four days prior to inoculation with Burgundian yeast. Transferred to French oak (50% new) for12 months maturation before bottling. 13% alc/vol. This wine was rated 94 points by James Halliday.
